First Delivery Complete

The first babka (cinnamon) has been completed and delivered. It was baked in a foreign oven, so it came out a bit dark. Sticking with natural gas from now on. Photos to come, maybe a nice babka lineup. Sampled some of this one with dulce de Leche ice cream, and it was good.

Babka 101

I have perfected this recipe over 8 attempts. The result is very similar to a babka that can be found in the heart of Brooklyn. I have made 6 chocolate and 2 cinnamon, and hope to try an almond one using almond paste from a local Italian deli.
